From the first call to the last page
What happens, in order, once you decide to talk to us.
- 01
Step 1: You call or write
Renato answers in English, Spanish or Portuguese, asks what's going on and finds you a time. You don't have to explain everything on the phone.
- 02
Step 2: The first meeting
About an hour with Caridad. Bring everything you have, including what you're embarrassed about. She tells you which paths are open and which aren't.
- 03
Step 3: A written plan and fee
A fee quote in writing, with the government's filing fees listed apart. You decide at home, not at the desk.
- 04
Step 4: We prepare and file
You go over every page, read aloud in your language if you like, before you sign. We keep copies; you keep your originals.
- 05
Step 5: We stay with it
Receipts, requests for evidence, fingerprints, interviews. We answer each one and tell you what it means until the case is decided.
Before you come
Bring the pile
Every letter, receipt and form, even the ones that frighten you.
The order doesn't matter; we'll sort it. What matters is that nothing is missing, because the one paper left at home is often the one that explains everything.
Passports and any immigration papers you've been given
Letters and notices, with their envelopes
Court papers, if you've ever been arrested
Names and dates of birth for the family

Call Renato first
